Time Flies!!!!

Yeah...I know I really am feeling old...sorry for all the cheezy titles!! lol!!
Here is a picture of my other best friend Joy Towers and I. This is a picture of one of our MANY business ideas that we came up with!! Every time we would get together we would come up with a new business! This one was for people like us who were not allowed to have a dog...so we would make one for them!!! We were in business for about 20 minutes until we came up with a better idea!! lol!! We were neighbors when we were two and our mom's would pass us over the fence when each one needed a break!! And we have been great friends ever since!! When I was younger I always told everyone that I was going to get married when I was 18.....yeah...well that didn't happen and Joy always thought I was crazy!! lol!! The reason for this post is because I just found out that I'm going to be the Maid of Honor in her wedding this September(she is 19;)!!! I'm am sooooo excited!! I just scream every time I think of it!! lol!! So the other day we went bridesmaids dress shopping! Ahh!! It was a blast! And while we were at it she decided to try her dress on again so I got some shots of it:) >SLIDESHOW<

Getting Old......

Well not really but I feel like it!!! Haha!! So here are some pics from the baby shower...I'm not going to post any from the actual shower because after looking at them....they really don't represent my work...cause I didn't take them!! LOL!!!! As you will see here... I'm am now teaching alllll of my friends how to be photographers!!! Even the models:)

What a week!!!

Wow!! This has been an incredible and crazy week at the same time!!
We had a surprise baby shower for my mom yesterday! And she was sooo surprised she had NO idea!! It was so sweet!! I'll post pics and videos from that tomorrow:) But for tonight you all will have to settle for pictures of one of my best friends Rebecca...!!:) We did a very mini photoshoot after the shower and it was great! Rebecca is going to be doing some modeling for me in the next couple weeks so stay tuned for more pics of her!!:)

Well I just found out today that I have been accepted to the Wedding Photojournalists Association(WPJA)!!! I am so honored to be a part of it...because there are such INCREDIBLE photographers on there that have been in business way longer than me!! I'm so excited to be a part of this!:)

Ski day!!??

We went skiing a couple weeks ago and I just never blogged about it because I was waiting for my brother to make a movie from it...so he finished it!! Yeah!!! Every Tuesday up in Wisconsin they have a homeschool ski day so I took the kids and it was a blast!! Except I wiped out a couple times...as shown in the video... lol!! Here is the link! THE contest!!!

Lily Simone!!!

Lily Simone Jimenez!! She was born at 3:14am on Sunday morning and was a whopping 9lbs and 22in long!! My friend Schlyce ended up having the baby at the hospital because the baby was breech.... But everything turned out awesome!! Lily is totally healthy and beautiful!!! And boy were those some proud first-time parents!!! Here is the slideshow!:) Enjoy!

Ok so here is the BG/RS James slideshow that I promised!!:)
When we got there all we could get were seats that were REALLY far away from the stage....then my dad saw one of his old employees who was working at the concert and he hooked us up with some front row seats!! WOW!! I remember when WE were the only fans at their concerts! And now there were like 3000 fans there!!! In just 3 years!
We had such a blast and stayed until like 1:30am hanging out looking at pictures and fan mail, eating St. Patrick's day cupcakes....(so I could be a little patriotic!), and getting some people to join OSP;) lol!!
I LOVE my family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Almost there!!

Ok...so it is 12:45am and I'm sitting in a dark living room waiting...
My mom and I are at our friend Schlyce's house and she is about ready to pop!!:) lol!
I'm going to be doing some photography for her and just helping out wherever I can! Should be fun!!!! This is a home birth too! My mom had all home births so she is an old pro...and this will be my third time helping out with one:) AND another one on the way in a couple weeks!! Well the reason for the picture above is that is Schlyce and her husband Brian on their wedding day!:) I shot their wedding over a year ago and it was only my second wedding! Wow!! Time totally fly's when your having fun!!!!!!!

So last night we went to the Chicago part of the Rebecca St. James/Barlowgirl tour:) We had so much fun! We saw sooo many old friends too! I will talk more about it tomorrow when I get the slideshow up!! But here is a sneak peak!

I was at the store last night...and remembered that Barlowgirl was supposed to be in Sophisticate Magazine so I checked it out and sure enough!!!
Here they are!!!
I'm soooo excited for them! This is a pretty big deal and should get them some nice publicity in a whole other market!
Hopefully you can read the article...our scanner isn't working so I just took a picture of it!! haha!! If you REALLY want to read it open the picture and save it to your computer then you can read it in another program like photoshop or something:) Have an awesome day guys!!!!!!!!! ....I think I need to go get a haircut... lol!

Chicago PUG launch!!

Last night was the first Chicago PUG meeting!
PUG stands for Pictage User Group:)
It was sooo much fun! We learned so much!
Sara France came out from San Diego to launch the group!
She is sooo funny and totally rocks!!! We had an awesome time afterwards at dinner too! Here are some pics from it:)

A ROCKIN time!!!!

Ok, so I'm back from California!!! We had an AMAZING time!!!
Here is the slideshow from it:) We had a crazy busy time and only got like 4 hours of sleep each night but it was sooo much fun I didn't even notice!! I got to meet soooo many awesome photographers and shoot with them too!!! On Saturday I got to shoot with one of the most amazing photographers I know...Jessica Claire!!:) She was soooo fun to shoot with and sooo funny too!!! We had an awesome time!! This has been such an awesome learning experience and can't believe that it is over....but came away with soooo much information and some amazing new friends!!:)
