Recently shot my friend Jason Dowd while out in LA. He's an incredible musician and is working on his modeling portfolio right now. We shot a bit around his house, then out and about in LA... the areas to shoot are limitless. Even after dark when we had zero lighting but was able to find the raddest places. He was so fun to work with and I think I was laughing 100% of the time. ha! So excited to see him KILL it in this industry.
Last month I did a shoot for up and coming NEXT model Gretta Solie in West Hollywood. My amazing friend Alexa Younger and I collaborated on this shoot...her on the art direction/hair & makeup and us both on the styling. It turned out to be one of my fav most recent shoots..especially to work with Gretta, she has QUITE the future in this industry. Kinda obsessed with her look...and versatility!
Several weeks ago I did a shoot for Macs|Amax model Korey along with the dream team Stephen Schofield as art director and Jazz Davis on hair and makeup it made for quite the amazing day and in the process ended up with some of my favorite new pictures! Korey is about to make the big move to NYC where I know he is going to KILL it in modeling! Keep an eye out for his face!!
A few weeks ago we did a shoot for the newly Amax signed model Josh King along with Stephen Schofield as the art director. The minute I saw his look I knew we should go super raw with the photos and with this being one of his first shoots we were able to cover a lot of styles with that concept. We worked with another amazing AMAX model earlier this month with the help of quite the dream team and Rachel from AMAX I think we pulled off one of my favorite shoots so far! And probably the most fun shoot ever too. I think I can do this forever. Enjoy: Leona.
