BarlowGirl ::: Tour

Last month, I went on tour with my cousins, Barlowgirl, and documented them for close to a week! It was quite the trip with 4 stops over to weekend to: West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and New York. The tour was so fun and had so many awesome people a part of it! It felt like one big family! My cousins are my best friends too and living so far away from them is hard getting to spend quality time was much needed! Since I've been shooting them for the past 5 years I didn't shoot a ton of traditional concert pics...but here are some of my favorites!! And here is a ***SLIDESHOW***

Jordan Christy ::: Life

Last year I did a shoot for an up and coming author Jordan Christy. I flew down to Nashville to do the shoot and we hit it off well, as the book she was working on was a guide for living for girls, which I have always had on my heart in having a young women's ministry back in Chicago and writing on my "Dear Natalie" blog! We definitely had a ton to talk about!
Now a year and a half later she is a mom and an accomplished author of the book, "How to be a Hepburn in a Hilton World." She's been featured on Good Morning America as well as tons of other media outlets! I'm sooo proud of her!!
She asked me for some new pictures and of course now that I live in Nashville in was much easier to come by! ha! She is stunning and was probably a super model in another life so it was definitely an amazingly easy shoot!
Check out the ***SLIDESHOW HERE*** and down below are some of my favs!

Marisha ::: Life

On Sunday, my friends and I headed downtown Franklin, TN... which if you have never been there you are missing out big time! It is an adorable little town with little boutique shops and the cutest homes everywhere that I have to keep from drooling over. Right outside of town there is an old historic graveyard that is from the 1800s...probably one of the scariest places I've been but rich with places to take pictures! I always thought whenever I heard people taking pictures in graveyards that it was just way too morbid...but for more high fashion stuff I reallllly like the look!! I had my beautiful friend Marisha model while my friends and I shot away! It made for a fun afternoon...even though it was freezing she pulled off the look so well! Check it out!

BarlowGirl ::: Beautiful Ending Video

Earlier this summer, I headed down to Atlanta to document a music video shoot for my cousins band, BarlowGirl! We drove down late one night and I woke up looked out the window of the bus and almost passed out with how gorgeous the place was! We were shooting at the video directors house and it was like we walked into another world! A quarry filled with water with a big house looking like it was just floating on the water and docks lining the entire house. A diving board, water fall and giant cliffs on the other side to jump off of. It was like a fantasy! We shot there the entire day and experienced wonderful hospitality from the Morgan family! At the end of the amazing day a ton of us jumped in the lake with all our clothes on. It was the perfect end to the perfect day!
The video turned out INCREDIBLE btw..and I definitely cried when I first watched it! It was directed by Tim Morgan who is going to be HUGE someday I know! He's already put out incredible projects like the film Volition that I have posted about before!

BarlowGirl ::: Love & War

Earlier this year I did my cousins, BarlowGirl's, promo photoshoot for their latest album. It was quite the shoot and we had a BLAST like always...laughing most of the time for sure and getting some shots in between;) The name of the album is Love & War and we had to combine the two in a shoot...after weeks of brainstorming we came up with incorporating red objects throughout the shoot and making it very whimsical yet bold at the same time. I REALLLLY love the result!! We were thankfully able to use my aunt and uncle's house here in Nashville and then headed over to a horse track for the rest! Definitely one of my most favorite shoots! And I'm so happy to finally release it! Check out the ***SLIDESHOW HERE*** and some of the favorites down below!

THE Interns #6

Whew...this was my last internship of the year and SUCH an incredible one to go out on!! I was astounded the whole time how fun and smooth it went!
This internship got off to a crazy start! The morning everyone was supposed to come one of the girls Hannah ended up getting the flu so her mom called to see what our options were...and ended up deciding to have her come in two days after she was over it. Emma was supposed to fly in that night and her flight got cancelled so she had to stay in the Atlanta airport overnight to wait to catch her flight the next morning! Kate lives in town so she just came the next day! It was crazy but after the second day and everyone arrived we got all the bumps smoothed out and it ended up being AMAZING!!!We did 3 incredible shoots as well as went and fed the homeless downtown Nashville with a bunch of my friends! And as always partied hard every night, some nights ice cream social and others having “family dinners” with a bunch of my friends and the interns! It was also amazing how quickly we got everything done during this one it seemed to go by wayyy too fast! But I know these girls got what they need and I can’t wait to see what they do in the future to impact the photography community and the art as a whole! These girls are INCREDIBLE! ***CLICK HERE*** for the recap slideshow!!

Kate Underwood:
Kate was the oldest one of the group yet got along soooo well with everyone! I didn’t feel the age difference one bit! She was SO fun to be around and has such a great sense of humor from her finger dances in the car when we were rocking out to her stories and guidance about boys. She is first and foremost and increble musical artist! Check out her stuff here! But she is wanting to get into photography as well which surprisingly I see soooo many people do! The two art forms must balance each other well!? She has quite the eye in photography as well as such a great personality that I know she will go so far!! As well as in her music career! This girl has got it going on! Check out here blog ***HERE***!!Hannah Wing:
Hannah is sooo precious!! She arrived in on Tuesday after our first day...but jumped right in very easily! She didn’t miss a beat! Hannah is very very new in photography but surprised me so much how she flowed in all of it! If she already picked up this much this fast who knows where she will go!! WAAAAY past me I’m sure! She is really calm and even keeled but strong at the same time! I loved the more you get to know her the more she would shine! And quite the personality too!! She was such a perfect addition to the internship and balanced everyone out I LOVE that!! I seriously can’t wait to see all that she does in the photography arena! Check out her SWEET blog ***HERE***!!
Emma Leigh Bradshaw:
Emma definitely surprised me so much. The first time I talked to her on the phone was when she was stuck in the airport overnight and nottt to excited about that! She sounded scared and not sure what to do! When she got here the first day we warmed up and then she unleashed!! haha! Probably one of the biggest personalities I’ve ever seen! I think I laughed from start to finish the whole time from her interpretations and descriptions of all my friends to her amazing stories of her home town and family. I don’t think I’ve ever been more entertained by someone! Plus she is an incredible cook and could almost cook anything I’m sure! Besides her incredible eye in photography she puts people at ease too while she’s shooting which is such the key! I know that with all this love that exudes out of her plus her style! She is going to drop kick the competition right out of the water! Check out her awesome blog ***HERE***!!

Lindsey & Dustin

During the last internship I wanted to do a shoot that was a lot like an engagement session...well my friend Tiffany came through once again in the beautiful friend area and recommened her friends Lindsey and Dustin! They've been married for a few years now but are just as in love as any other brand new couple! I LOVED being able to shoot them and get to know them! They are precious and had us "awww'ing" the whole time! They could definitely quit their jobs and make millions being models as they are just so cute together! Seriously!? Check this out: Click ***HERE*** for the slideshow...and other favorites are down below!!

Melissa and Tiffany take 2

Melissa and Tiffany came back for another shoot for the last internship of the year and they were as hot as ever!! I love that each shoot I've done with them they've brought something completely different to the table! They have such incredible style and personalities that I really could shoot them all the time, I think! haha! This time we decided to stay around my place most of the time and see where we could be creative! Of course we had to bust out feathers at the end! What is a full fashion shoot without them!?
Check out the slideshow ***HERE*** and some of the favorites down below!

Probably one of my most FAVORITE pics I've ever shot!!! Sooo excited about it!!
