Perception

I was watching the sunset a couple weeks ago and I thought of something pretty simple....
Did you ever realize that God doesn't just "paint" a new and completely different sunrise and sunset each day....it is completely different for each person all around the world each day at each sunrise and sunset! For some it could just be a plain overcast one, others not a cloud in the sky, and yet others it could be the most spectacular sky they've ever seen....all depending on where they are standing!
Where are you standing right now?? Or do you need to move and position yourself to see the spectacular-ness of it all? :)

Sarah,
It is so cool how God gives a different gift to every person in the world with a daily sunset and sunrise. We often take those gifts for granted. Made me think of this artist Robert Weingarten. He photographed the Golden Gate Bridge from his balcony at 6:30am every morning for 365 days straight. He made them into large gallery prints. It is really cool to see how the sky changed everyday even from the same view point yet remained beautiful in all aspects. Check out his work at:

That's a neat link Kevin. Sunrises and Sunsets are some of the most beautiful pictures God ever gave us. Thought provoking post Sarah, especially good to remember when our view doesn't look so great.
